Study of the quantum physics of particles at the atomic and nuclear level. The Schrodinger equation, the uncertainty principle, angular momentum, spin, indistinguishable particles, perturbation theory, and the conceptual framework of quantum mechanics.

Prerequisite: PH 2434, MA 3133 .
