BY 1101 - Biology Study Skills (1) F

This course is designed to enhance the academic success of first-semester Biology majors enrolled in BY 1134 or BY 1144. Through a combination of peer tutoring, faculty mentorship, and personalized academic planning, students will develop essential skills for excelling in college-level biology courses. The curriculum focuses on effective learning strategies, time management, and critical thinking skills specific to biological sciences. Students will engage in regular group tutoring, attend faculty-led study sessions, work with academic success coaches, and meet frequently with Biology faculty mentors. This course aims to provide a strong foundation for success in the Biology program and future scientific pursuits.
