This course focuses on the principles and practices of academic feedback and assessment in education. Future educators will explore various types of assessment, including formative, summative, and diagnostic methods, and their roles in supporting student learning. Candidates will explore effective feedback strategies that enhance student performance and inform instructional decisions. A required clinical experience will provide candidates with the opportunity to apply assessment techniques in real classroom settings.
