IDEA 2203 - Advanced Program Capstone

In the IDEAL Advanced Program Capstone course, students apply and expand their knowledge and skills acquired through the first three years of the program to complete an individualized project. The project will focus on preparing them for life after college based on the components of Person-Centered Planning- academics and employment, community engagement, and independent living.

Students will take this course both fall and spring semesters. In the fall semester, students will create and track a SMART goal for their job and complete a certification course aligned with their career field. In the spring semester, students will research and create a community resource guide, activity guide, and independent living resource for post-graduation.
