ED 3513 - Instruction in STEM (1)

This course provides apprentices with the foundational skills and knowledge to integrate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) into their classroom practices. Focusing on hands-on, inquiry-based learning, the course aims to equip apprentices with strategies to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in young children. Through a combination of in-class instruction and on-the-job learning, apprentices will explore how to effectively design and implement STEM-focused activities that promote exploration, experimentation, and discovery. They will also develop a deep understanding of how to scaffold STEM learning in developmentally appropriate ways that align with early childhood standards.
