NUTR 4513 - Medical Nutrition Therapy II (3) SP

This course is part two of a two-semester course including assessment and evidenced-based application of the Nutrition Care Process for a variety of disease states including renal, cancer, diabetes, metabolic stress and inborn errors of metabolism. This course includes how to adjust food requirements, fluid, nutrients and nutrition support principles for each disease state including the analysis of interactions and how to collaborate with a healthcare team. Prerequisites: BY 2434, BY 2444, NUTR 2613, NUTR 4503, and NUTR 4623 or permission of instructor.
